# Privacy — ASO Analytics

## Native app data

The native app connects directly from the device to App Store Connect using the user's API key. Sales, subscriptions and analytics are stored locally and synced through the user's private iCloud database. ASO Analytics does not operate a backend that receives these reports.

The .p8 private key and connection credentials use device-only keychain protection. They do not sync through iCloud or iCloud Keychain and are not included in backups. Add the key separately on each device. The recommended Sales and Reports role cannot change prices, edit metadata or submit builds. The key can be revoked in App Store Connect.

## App connections

- App Store Connect: authenticated requests for the user's reports.
- Apple storefront services: public search positions, suggestions, ratings and listings using an app ID, search term or storefront code.
- European Central Bank: exchange rates for displaying revenue in one currency.
- Apple iCloud: analytics synchronization through a private CloudKit database.

The native app includes no analytics SDK, crash reporting SDK, advertising identifier or third-party tracking SDK. Its sample-data mode uses an in-memory portfolio without network requests.

## Website and correspondence

The website preview uses fictional data and does not connect to your account. The site has no analytics trackers, advertising scripts or newsletter submission service. Fonts and images are served with the site. Contact buttons open your email app; the website does not send the message. If you send it, we receive your email address and message to respond to your request. You can request deletion of your correspondence.
