## ASO pre-release checklist

A free checklist for a new App Store launch or a listing update: 24 checks covering positioning, keywords and metadata, screenshots, localization and submission, measurement, and release follow-up. No email or registration required. Both formats are in English.

- [Download the 3-page PDF](https://www.aso.guide/downloads/aso-pre-release-checklist.pdf): Fillable checkboxes, app and owner fields, and a next-action note.
- [Download the editable Markdown checklist](https://www.aso.guide/downloads/aso-pre-release-checklist.md): The same checks, with space for your release details and next action.

Assign an owner to any open item. For a first release, record the launch date; for an update, save a baseline before making changes. The checklist is ASO guidance, not a complete submission audit or a guarantee of rankings or installs. Apple requirements were reviewed October 10, 2026; check current documentation before submission.
